First and foremost welcome to The Village Church.

We’re glad you decided to visit our website!

Our church exists beyond the walls of just Sunday morning. We’re glad to be investing in Thorold and surrounding communities! We have wonderful partnerships with local agencies and help out by loving our communities. We want to make a good city great.
The Village is made up of Catholics, Protestants, people who are new to faith or people who simply want to ask the “big” questions of life. Maybe if you are like most Canadians, you don’t have a high view of church… in fact when someone mentions the word, you think “boring” and “irrelevant”. At The Village Church we would like to try to change your mind. Our tagline is “A Different Way of Doing Church”. What does that mean? It means we are a church that challenges people to fall deeper in love with Jesus and the neighbourhoods we live in. In addition, we want to be a safe place where you can discover, learn, and grow in your faith.
If you’re looking for an environment where you can be challenged and want to participate in the Kingdom Adventure, then The Village Church is for you. Thanks for stopping by!
At a special Sunday morning service, The Village Church celebrates the partnerships we have with organizations within Thorold. Represented at the special service are (l to r) Christa Miller, Thorold High School; Terry Dow, Thorold Tourism; Mayor Luciani, City of Thorold; Glen Sparks, Youth For Christ; Duane Kemp, Thorold High School; Mike S., Niagara Life Centre; Bruce Harris, Thorold Communities Activities Group; Councillor Becky Lott, City of Thorold; Dr. Andre Basson, Brock University; Jeanette Vanderwerff, Community Care; James Symons, The Boot Walk; and Pastor Mike, The Village Church’s Founding Pastor/Planter.
