About Our Church
We are a close-knit intergenerational and intercultural church that thrives on learning and serving together. Our mission is:

“To be a community of faith that is dedicated to knowing Jesus Christ, serving others in His name and making His love known throughout our home community.”
VALUES:

Every family, every organization and every church has a culture. Here are the THREE CORE VALUES we want to describe and prescribe the culture we create at the Village, along with a set of questions we ask to ensure we’re personally embracing the values:
1) Welcome the Stranger
Jesus loved us by welcoming us. Out of his welcome, we love loving the stranger.
Am I creating space in my life to offer my neighbour the welcome I have received?
KEY VERSE: “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” (Hebrews 12:2)
2) Serve Together
Nothing is more fun than to take the low place of service alongside people you love.
Am I serving others or do I expect to be served?
KEY VERSE: “Looking not only to our own interests, but also to the interests of others” (Phl 2:4, par)
3) Learn the Way of Jesus
We honour Christ and live with integrity by taking his call on our lives very seriously.
Am I pursuing the next best thing God has for me so that his way of life is seen in my way of life?
KEY VERSE: “As the Father sent me, so I am sending you” (John 20:21)
