Recently, a small group from our church went door to door in our neighbourhood.
We weren’t there to convince anyone of anything.
We simply said:
“Hi, we’re just out caring for the community and offering to pray with people.Would you like us to pray for you?”

We knocked on about 40 doors. We spoke with around 20 people.Seven people said yes.
What We Encountered
One person had recently lost a spouse.Another was battling depression.Someone else was caring for a wife recovering from major surgery.
One man, new to the country, shared how alone he felt — unsure of who he could trust or turn to.He told us his story, and we listened.
Then we prayed —bringing everything he shared honestly before God.
A Moment That Stayed With Us
When the prayer ended, tears filled his eyes.
He said quietly:
“You are angels — messengers of God.Thank you.”
That day, we knocked on 40 doorsto show God’s love to one man.
Shared Wisdom
“God often changes the world not through big events, but through people who are willing to listen, pray, and show up.”
